I have a hard time finding movies and shows that I like on the plethora of technology that we have available at my house: Netflix, HBOgo, Amazon, etc.
However, I came across this gem by accident. A movie about sushi? Please and thank you!
Jiro Dreams of Sushi was a great little gem.
A documentary on 85-year-old sushi master Jiro Ono, his business in the Ginza Tokio Subway station, and his relationship with his son and eventual heir, Yoshikazu.
I’m amazed by the passion and longevity behind this sushi master’s career.
And by the end – I was hungry – and inspired.
I really want to check out some of the Michelin starred restaurants – the best in the world! I think I’ve convinced the boyfriend that he wants to as well!
